API Keys

When you use the Linguix SDK or API, you’ll need an API key to authenticate your requests.

Free Usage and Limits​

  • You can use up to 1 million characters per month on the Free plan.
  • Every month, your character count resets automatically.
  • If you require more than 1 million characters, consider upgrading your plan. Refer to our pricing page for details.

Viewing and Managing API Keys​

You can manage your keys at https://app.linguix.com/api. This page shows:

  • Current Plan (e.g., “API Free”)
  • Character Limit for the month
  • Monthly Period Start Date and historical usage
  • List of API Keys you’ve created, along with descriptions, creation dates, and last usage timestamps

Creating a New Key​

  1. Click Create new under the “API Keys” section.
  2. Provide a Description (e.g., “My Project” or “Server X”).
  3. Your new key is generated instantly and ready to use.

Any key you create will count toward your monthly character limit. Multiple keys can help you organize usage across different projects or environments.
